Classes Offered

Ballet
Highly recommended for all students. Ballet is extremely beneficial in a variety of ways, including teaching poise, flexibility, strength, posture, grace, and self-discipline. Ballet technique is an integral part in all other forms of dance.
Ages 4 years old - 5th grade: 30 minute class 1x per week
6th grade & up: one hour class 1x per week
*must be 4 years old by October 1st
Dress Code: solid color leotard in pink or black; or black fitted shorts and camisole. Tights or leggings are preferred. Ballet skirt is allowed. Pink ballet shoes required. In addition to ballet shoes, dancers in grades 5th and up are required to have lyrical shoes for performance.

Tap
A style of American theatrical dance using precise rhythmical patterns of foot movement and audible foot tapping. Tap helps students develop rhythm, coordination and timing while allowing them to make music with their feet!
All ages: 30 minute class 1x per week
Dress Code: same body wear as ballet requirements. Tan tap shoes with ribbon for K-5th grade; tan Mary-Jane tap shoes for middle school students; tan jazz tap shoes for all high school students.

Gymnastics
Our gymnastics program teaches the basic fundamentals and techniques of gymnastics including progressive basic skills, flexibility and muscle development. Our program also teaches students the skills needed to cheer on school and all-star cheer squads. I
f a student shows exemplary gymnastics skills and mental readiness, they may be invited to move on to specialized team or class, or to be invited onto our GF Flyers Competitive Power Tumbling Team.
Dress Code: gym shorts (Soffe) and t-shirt if not participating in dance class. Otherwise, wear dance attire.

Tumblebugs
We offer "tumblebugs" for our 3 - 4 year olds. This program teaches students the basic fundamentals and techniques of gymnastics by working on flexibility, muscle development, control, and coordination. Tumblebug students participate in our annual dance recital at the end of our school year.
